I saw many things that were very real and left a deep impression. I rarely took pictures of these. Sometimes I did, but I rarely show them to anyone – they irritate.
I walked past this old man. He was reading a newspaper with a strong magnifying glass in the midday sun. The lens focused the light into a bright spot on the paper. He did not show that he noticed me. I surely noticed him. A few meters further, I turned around and took this picture.
I obviously thought, that this was an encounter I should remind myself of.
