Shades of Grey
I have to switch trains in Frankfurt. Commuters flood from the coaches onto the platforms. Colours seem to be reserved for billboards.
Deep Blue Sea
After a scenic train ride along the mediterranean coast of France I arrive in Nice-Ville. I have one more day in France. I look at the sea.
End of Season
I follow the Canal du Midi out of Carcassonne towards Toulouse. Thick clouds hang in the sky. It starts raining. Something tells me that summer is over.
Vanity Fair
North of the Pyrenees I touch down in France. In the valley of the river Garonne. In the city of Toulouse.
Such a perfect day
The Empire strikes back
As far as I know, the Empire is gone. What remains is London and the Royal Family. The show must go on. People are watching.
Doctor? … Doctor Where?
Cardiff in Wales. A city by the sea. On my way to the bay the weather oscillates between sunshine and clouds. On the dock a carousel is spinning in the breeze.
