Eastern Promises

Once upon a Time

Northern Exposure
Not in Kansas any more

Shades of Grey
I have to switch trains in Frankfurt. Commuters flood from the coaches onto the platforms. Colours seem to be reserved for billboards.
Deep Blue Sea
After a scenic train ride along the mediterranean coast of France I arrive in Nice-Ville. I have one more day in France. I look at the sea.
End of Season
I follow the Canal du Midi out of Carcassonne towards Toulouse. Thick clouds hang in the sky. It starts raining. Something tells me that summer is over.
Vanity Fair
North of the Pyrenees I touch down in France. In the valley of the river Garonne. In the city of Toulouse.
